The World's Greatest Superheroes was a comic strip that ran Sunday and daily from 9 April 1978 to 10 February 1985, featuring Superman, Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and Black Lightning. It underwent two title changes, as the focus changed to feature Superman primarily. In October 1981 the title changed to The World's Greatest Superheores Presents Superman, and 9 January 1983 the title became The Superman Sunday Special. Artists included George Tuska, Vince Colletta, Jose Delbo, Bob Smith, Frank McLaughlin, and Sal Trapani. Writers included Martin Pasko, Paul Levitz, Gerry Conway, Paul Kupperberg, and Bob Rozakis.
