TOSY Robotics is the first Vietnamese robots manufacturing company [1] best known for the development of TOPIO - a robot that can play ping-pong with humans.[2] The company's slogan is FUTURE ROBOT.

History

  • In 2002, TOSY was founded.
  • In 2005, TOSY made its first step towards robotics with the project to make a humanoid robot called TOPIO.
  • In November 2007, TOSY exhibited its robots at Tokyo International Robot Exhibition (IREX), Japan.[3]
  • In February 2009, TOSY attended Nuremberg International Toy Fair, Germany.[4]
  • In November 2009, TOSY has sent TOPIO 3.0 and its latest models of industrial robots to the Tokyo International Robot Exhibition, Japan.[5]
  • In February 2010, TOSY attended Nuremberg International Toy Fair, Germany - the biggest International Toy Fair.[6]
  • In June 2010, TOSY first time joined AUTOMATICA 4th in Munich, Germany with its latest industrial robots.[7]
  • In January 2012, TOSY first time joined CES in Las Vegas. Justin Bieber unveils TOSY mRobo at CES 2012.[8]
