Hello, I was just wondering if anybody knew some interesting facts about the machines and aircraft used during the blitz. If you do, please post some information; I will be very grateful and will try to give you help if you ever need it.

Why is it so difficult and round-about to pose a simple question to Wikipedia???? I would like to know more about former Confederate Major Alexander Doran who appears in the article about the Hot Springs, Arkansas shoot-out in March 1899 between the police and the sheriff's deputies over kick-backs from the control of gambling interests in the city. Before being shot himself, Major Doran allegedly shot about ten of his rivals who worked for his major opponent. How many of those rivals were shot by the major himself and what were the circumstances of those shootings in the 1880's before the notorious shootings of 1899.
