Patrick Claude Ekeng Ekeng (born 26 March 1990) is a Cameroonian professional footballer currently playing for FC Lausanne-Sport.

Club career

Ekeng began his football career in 2006 with hometown club Canon Yaoundé where he rose through the youth ranks and also featured for the first team before moving to France to join Le Mans FC in 2009. While at the club Ekeng went on loan during the second half of the 2010-11 season, playing for then third-tier side Rodez AF. The player returned to Le Mans and played a role for the team in the next two seasons as they competed in Ligue 2. He left Le Mans following their relegation Championnat National after the 2012-13 season. Later that summer Ekeng went on trial and earned a contract with Swiss side FC Lausanne-Sport, joining on a free transfer and signing a two-year agreement.[1]

International career

Ekeng is a former Cameroon youth international. He took part in the 2009 African Youth Championship, but Cameroon lost in the Final against Ghana 2–0. He also played in the squad at the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup, but as his team finished last in Group C they were unable to progress.
