I strongly suggest you read WP:BLP before making these types of edits again or you will be reported for BLP violations.

  • The political affiliations of Gandhi's grandfather do not belong in the lede.
  • The school statement was very poorly sourced.
  • Adding the "rape controversy" while you knew full well the complaint was frivolous and malicious is inexcusable here on Wikipedia. Do not do this again.

The school statement can be verified from many newspapers. All one needs to do is to put Rahul Gandhi Moscow in Google News search. I had cited two newspapers from 1986 and 1997. Should I do more or you could do a simple Google search? Exactly, what is "poorly sourced"? Newspapers do not count or what? Perhaps, the political affiliations of a fascist or Nazi grandfather do not belong in the lede (but somehow non-Nazi, non-fascist affiliations of great-grandfather do) but do you think it is a good idea to suppress this? --70.76.85.36 (talk) 02:27, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
"Run by the Vatican" needs better sourcing than "a newspaper reports...". And the grandfather's ideology should be mentioned if you have a reliable source showing it affected Gandhi. We don't add "his grandfather was a Nazi" or "her grandfather was a member of the SS" to our biographies of German subjects for no reason. --NeilN talk to me 02:33, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Could you cite an example of what kind of certificate is needed for saying "Vatican-run school"? Is Vatican-run school a derogatory thing to say? What if it was episcopal or Jesuit school? Also, what do you mean by "we"? If one considers oneself to be on the board of directors of Wikipedia, then it is a different story altogether. There is a difference between people who contribute content to the Wikipedia articles and those who contribute stuff to Talk pages and revert constructive edits.--70.76.85.36 (talk) 02:44, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
