Jane Spencer is an American director who co-wrote and directed the film Little Noises, with lead actors Crispin Glover, Tatum O'Neal and Rik Mayall which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, was screened at the Goteborg Film Festival (Sweden), Wine Valley Festival (USA) and was distributed in the USA (theatrical) and Europe and is mentioned in film critic and Cassavetes scholar Ray Carney's lecture 'The Independent Vision: At the Other Movies'. She is the writer, producer and director of 'Faces On Mars', which premiered at the Solothurn Film Festival (Switzerland), and is the writer,producer and director of the film Men Don't Lie, with lead actors Michael Madsen, Jean-Hugues Anglade and Megan Maczko, to be released in 2013. She is a playwright whose plays include 'Critical Mass'(co-writer), 'Faces On Mars', and 'Wake Up Running'. She studied at Waynflete School, the University of Texas (Theatre), New York University (Film) and The Actors Studio in New York City (writing and directing) as well as Circle Rep Lab in New York City.
