Twoo.com is a free social discovery platform launched in 2011. Eight months after launching was the world's No.6 most popular site to meet new people according to the ComScore international ranking data.[1] In November 2012, Twoo.com became the biggest site in the world in the personals category (Comscore December 2012).[2]

Twoo features matchmaking algorithms that connect users to others based on location and interests. The site presents a large number of active members; with an estimated 2 million active users daily.[3]

Twoo is owned by Massive Media, which is based in Ghent, Belgium and London, United Kingdom, and was founded by CEO Lorenz Bogaert and CTO Toon Coppens.[4] Massive Media is an online media group that aims to bring people together in a fun, simple and efficient way. They also own Netlog, another social networking website, which has 94 million users registered across 41 languages.[5] In December 2012, Massive Media was bought by the MEETIC Group.[6][7]

Controversy
