Sources of variable reliability and how they describe NVIC
Source Type Description of NVIC Editor Agreement
New York Times newspaper "an advocacy group that questions the safety of vaccines", within the context of an article about anti-vaccine groups ?
JAMA medical journal anti-vaccine ?

Figuring out the correct way to classify the NVIC organization is tough.

private anti-vaccination advocacy group - not private

national charitable non-profit anti-vaccination advocacy group - too long

national non-profit advocacy group - that seems to fit NPOV better because it doesn't step into either side.

anti-vaccination? what makes a person or group anti-vaccine? This is a very controversial subject and applying the term to the NVIC might be a NPOV violation.

A better description of the DTP book with citation:

The book DPT: A Shot in the Dark is published. Authors Harris L. Coulter and Barbara Loe Fisher (a founder of Dissatisfied Parents Together) describe numerous case histories of children reportedly injured or killed by the DPT vaccine. The book criticizes laws requiring vaccination, calls for further research on and testing of acellular pertussis vaccines, and urges additional research to identify children at particular risk of reacting to vaccines.
