  • Comment: Edited the article. Made it less advertisey (not a word... I know). Also added more general citations from Globe and Mail and Financial Post. Alderon is a relevant mining company, given its recent relationship with Hebei steel. Resubmitted for consideration. Lincolnchan98 (talk) 21:28, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Comment: I would d/corp. The company appears to be a mining company that has not attracted much notice. The article does not claim any distinction among other mining enterprises. Property in the Labrador Trough was acquired and is being explored. Iron has been mined in the 100,000 square mile region since 1954. WP is not a directory of corporations. The references are not general sources but rather investing and banking. Some details of mining could go in Labrador Trough article. It also sounds in advertising. Alderon Iron Ore Corp. (TSXADV, NYSEAXX, formerly Alderon Resource Corp.) is a Montreal, Quebec based company in the exploration, development and mining of iron ore properties in the southern Labrador Trough geological belt in southwestern Newfoundland & Labrador, near the Quebec border.[1]

In 2010, Alderon Iron Ore acquired the rights to The Kamistiatusset ("Kami") property in the Labrador Trough. In 2012, Alderon entered into an agreement with China's leading steel manufacturer, Hebei Iron & Steel whereby Hebei will invest $194 Million and purchase 60% of the mine's annual production for a near 20% stake in Alderon and 25% interest in the property.[2][3]
