Extracurricular activities

The school's marching band has won the state title 18 of the past 27 years.[when?] Its St. Croix Fusion girls' hockey team won state championships in the 2009, 2010, and 2011 seasons. The gymnastics team has 21 state appearances and 6 state championships. The River Falls women's golf team has entered the state championships in Madison, WI at University Ridge for the second time in two years. The team had finished with an overall finish of seventh place but was very happy with what they have accomplished. As of now the River Falls wildcat volleyball team has been playing well and are a tight knit team with athletes with great ability. Every sport and extra curricular that River Falls High School has available will encourage each student and will challenge them to become better at what they do.

Notable alumni

International fashion models Frankie and Missy Rayder attended River Falls High School. Brenda (Simone) Johnson was a notable alumni when she was nominated for the Wildcat Hall of Fame in the past year. Brenda Simone graduated from River Falls High School in 1986 and had accomplished many things in her high school career. Brenda was a three sport athlete and achieved in every sport that she participated in. She had earned herself eleven varsity letters, three in swimming/diving, four in gymnastics, and four in track and field. That was unheard of and her family couldn't have been more proud of her. This notable alumni had accomplished many more things in her life and is now a mother of two and is enjoying her time at St. Croix Central teaching gym class for younger students.
