Adam Gidwitz

Adam Gidwitz is the author of the children's book A Tale Dark and Grimm, published by Dutton Penguin in 2010 and "In a Glass Grimmly," published in 2012. He also wrote "The Grimm Conclusion" published in October 2012, which was the last book to the trilogy.

He was born in San Francisco in 1982, grew up in Baltimore, and went to college in New York City. He now lives with his wife and teaches in Brooklyn, NY.

A Tale Dark and Grimm was named a New York Times Editor's Choice,[1] A Publishers Weekly Best Children's Book of the Year (2010),[2] a School Library Journal Best Children's Book of the Year (2010),[3] and a 2010 ALA Notable Book.[4] A live action movie based on the book is planned.[5]
