WeWi Telecommunications, Inc. is a Canadian technology company based in London, Ontario. WeWi manufactures and markets computer hardware, software tools, and offers consulting and deployment software development services.[1][2]

The company was founded by David M. Snir in 2009 as an Internet service provider and then shifted to research and development. The company offers ad hoc disaster recovery and connectivity services for private and public sector as well as research and development of technology for government, defense and public health sectors. The company specializes in designing and deploying data centers for military and government bodies.[3]

In June 2013 WeWi launched its first consumer product: a Solar Operated Laptop (Sol). A rugged, waterproof solar laptop developed for education in Africa.[4][5] The laptop is preloaded with the Ubuntu variant of Linux.[6] [7]
