Bistorta manshuriensis (Hangul: 범꼬리) also known as Asian bistort is a perennial herbaceous plant with short thick rhizomes that grows in mountain valleys and lowlands in in Korea, Japan, It grows well in sunny places or slightly shaded places. [1]
Medicinal Usages
The plant contains chemical components of Tannins and flavonoids.[1] In Korean traditional prescription, their roots are used medicinally. The roots are used for treating Diarrhoea and bleeding. [1] [2]
