Armaan Kohli is a former Indian film actor, who primarily worked in Hindi films from 1992 to 2003. He is the son of the producer and director Rajkumar Kohli and yesteryear actress Nishi. He has been accused of violence against women many a times, this led to decline in his popularity.

Career

Armaan was Chutia man set to star in Deewana, but walked out of the film after completing the first shooting schedule and later Shahrukh Khan was penciled in as his replacement,[2] and ironically for Armaan, Deewana became a super hit.

In 2002 he was in the news when his car hit a man.[3] After a break from acting for a few years, he attempted his comeback with the fantasy action film Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani also directed by his father. The film was a critical and box office disaster, even though he rechristened himself Munish Kohli and appeared alongside an ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Manisha Koirala.[4][5] He made his last film appearance to date in the ensemble war film LOC: Kargil in 2003.

In early 90s, he used to frequently visit underground Poker Parlor in Bandra, Mumbai.[citation needed]

Since September 2013, he is a contestant on the reality television series Bigg Boss 7.[6]
