Omer Michael Jamal Bhatti (born Juny 14, 1985 in Drammen) is a Norwegian hip-hop artist with the stage name "O-Bee".[1] He is also known for his friendship to the deceased pop star Michael Jackson.[2]

Background

Bhatti was born in Drammen, and grew up in Holmlia. He is child of a Norwegian mother and a Pakistani father, whom both have worked with Michael Jackson.[3]

Career

In winter 2011 he signed a deal with Universal and released the single All Around the World, launching in 67 countries.[4] In the song he sings with Genevieve Jackson, the daughter of Michael Jackson's youngest brother, Steven Randy Jackson. In this regard, he was guest on the TV show Skavlan.[5] He also released the single Life Is a Movie with his first official music video, directed by Kavar Singh, in August 2011.[6] In September 2012 he released a music video for the single See The Light with singer Shontelle.[7] For the 2013 season, he will be one of four judges in the Norwegian Britain's Got Talent-inspired talent show Norske Talenter.[8]
