Information: The komodo bat was created when two biologists were tasked with making more interesting animals for the cincinnati zoo. They bred a pair thinking it would be a land creature but realized they could fly. They migrated to tropical climates to reproduce. Their population quickly spread.

History: Two biologists, Edgar Garciaz and Mary Eisenburg who worked for the cincinnati zoo were under fire for the boring animals they had at their zoo. They were tasked with creating more animals for the zoo. They took a survey of the most popular animals at the zoo and they found the komodo dragon and megabat. They decided that they would try to mix these. After 2 months they created a pair of them and released them into a pen.
