Disambiguation

i entered "Schwabs" and and was redirected to "Swabia." An entry of "Schwabs" should at least go to a disambiguation page. Not sure how to create this. Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pbr2000 (talkcontribs) 21:12, 12 April 2007

Learn how to use punctuation. If you had used the apostrophe to indicate the possessive form, you might have ended up in the right place. —QuicksilverT @ 06:41, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Other names

Schwab's Drug Store is also variously referred to as Schwab's Drugstore and Schwab's Pharmacy. Vintage B&W photos of the storefront, available through a Google search, show a sign on the front of the building identifying it as "Schwab's Pharmacy", with a smaller sign on the building corner that reads "DRUGS". The word "Schwab's" may be at the top of the DRUGS sign, but I can't be certain. The storefront was apparently remodeled sometime in its history, but the later sign version still prominently shows the business name as "Schwab's Pharmacy". I'm fairly certain that the correct, legal name of the establishment was "Schwab's Pharmacy". —QuicksilverT @ 06:41, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Off Topic

Half of this short article is not about Schwab's at all. It deals with the Lana Turner legend. Quicksilver, you are correct. I visited the place several times. The overhead sign was Schwab's Pharmacy, not Drug Store. The vertical sign, on the corner of the building, said DRUGS. Above the D, in small script was Schwab's. We need some details in here. When did the store open? Who owned it during different periods? How many stores were there? Perhaps expand to what was the cultural impact?
