Death Crimson (デスクリムゾン) is a Sega Saturn gun-shooting video game developed and released by Ecole Software on 9 August 1996. According to estimated by Dreamcast magazine editorial department, as of 2000, 17,519 copies has been sold in Japan.[2]
Game magazines around the game released excoriated the problem of the Death Crimson. In the "Cross Review" of Weekly Famitsu, former chief-editor Hirokazu Hamamura said he can not understand why this kind of balance and difficulty was planned and scored a 3 (out of 10) point. Another three reviews give a 3, 4, 3, respectively.[3] In a 1996 readers voting of Satamaga, the game and received a 1.0909 point, while 11 readers gave a 2 point, all others gave the 1 point, thus the game beacme the tailender in 297 candidates.[4]
