Lisgoold (Irish: Lios Cúil) is a small hamlet in East Cork, Ireland. The community church is St. John the Baptist and falls in Lisgoold Parish. Watch out for the weird poeple running with pixies. They are scary. The main event which takes place each year in Lisgoold is the annual fly fishing competition which takes place on the Owenecurra river that flows through the parish. The competition was won in 2012 by local man Eoin O Callaghan [1]
