March GOCE copyedit drive

Notes from the Guild of Copy Editors

The March 2014 backlog elimination drive is a month-long effort to reduce the backlog of articles in need of copyediting. The drive begins on March 1 at 00:00 (UTC) and ends on March 31 at 23:59 (UTC). Our goals are to copyedit all articles tagged in December 2012 and January 2013 and to complete all requests placed in January 2014. Barnstars will be awarded to anyone who copyedits at least one article, and special awards will be given to the top five in the following categories: number of articles, number of words, number of articles over 5,000 words, number of articles tagged in December 2012 and January 2013 and the longest article. We hope to see you there!

You offered to raise a question at WP:AN/ANI, here's the situation

Hi Blackmane, please excuse my block evasion at your page. I've no other means to reach you. You offered to raise my case for unblocking sufficient to comment at the RFC/U, but now Kww has revoked even my talkpage access. Would you consider raising both matters. You should do so in your own words but here is my message about Kww's action:

"1) Kww blocked me for WP:CANVASSING, but I didn't violate that. That policy states "When notifying other editors of discussions, keep the number of notifications small, keep the message text neutral, and don't preselect recipients according to their established opinions." I adhered to every component of that when I politely pinged various editors to request they comment at my RFC/U. I pinged the one group of four twice because I genuinely thought the function wasn't working. Two is still a small number of notifications.
"2) The absence of any violation is borne out by the fact that Bwilkins had just made the same allegation at WP:AN/ANI [1] where it went without the agreement of a single administrator and without being acted on."
"3) Kww is WP:INVOLVED. That says "editors should not act as administrators in cases in which they have been involved." He concurred in Wormthatturned's position "this user should remain blocked" [2]. He is involved and can't be reasonably considered neutral.
"4) Kww is an admonished administrator [3]. As the disciplinary action occurred just recently, he should be even more cautious in the use of his administrative buttons. The action here shows he hasn't learned his lesson."
"To conclude, I therefore ask that Kww's talkpage block of me be reversed, and further that I be unblocked sufficiently to respond to comments at the talkpage of my own RFC/U, which is how they're clearly supposed to operate."

Thanks if you do this Blackmane, and no sweat if you don't, but do at least tell me why no if the latter is the case. This is Colt on Co5mic.
