India is the only nation where its country is worshipped as mother "Maa Bharati". Few other names are also used frequently like "Bharat Mata" and "Bharat Maa".

Maa Bharati word has been mentioned in the Puranas and sacred scriptures of Hinduism. Number of mythological and historical events are associated with this mother land. This word gives motivation to the children of her to serve for betterment of the nation. It has power to join the thoughts of the people of India.
