Patent Information
The information on this page about the patent is inaccurate. The inventor named, Robert W. Vergobbi, doesn't seem to have any direct ties to the zipper storage bag. The most related patent by Mr. Vergobbi I could find is his patent on the reinforced bag (US patent 2,678,768). The primary use of the aforementioned invention is to provide a plastic bag to display contents while staying upright in the 'most satisfactory' position. --Eviltoylet (talk) 22:06, 10 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
similar without zipper
So what is the name of the somewhat similar product which is sealed and opened just by pushing the closing sides together? The article states that Minigrip licensed the zipper ones, but I associate the name Minigrip with the zipperless ones.
Searching Minigrip I found Ziploc and this article, and nothing on those articles says anything about the zipperless bag. 82.141.67.208 (talk) 07:36, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Contradicts the Ziploc page
The Ziploc page says the Minigrip bags were invented by a Japanese company and doesn't mention this Vergobbi guy at all... So how about confirming which page has the correct information and using the same for both? 62.78.251.108 (talk) 11:12, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
