Lakshmi Parvathi (born 1954) is an Indian politician and writer. She is the founder and president of NTR TDP.[1] She married former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh N. T. Rama Rao.[2] She is joining YSR Congress party soon.[3][4][5]
Education
Parvathi got her doctorate in Telugu literature from Telugu University of Andhra Pradesh, India in 2000. Her thesis was on "Bharathiya Pauranika Sampradayalu: Dr. N.T.Rama Rao - Chalana Chitra Saileekarana" under guidance of Prof. G. Lakshminarayana.[6]
She has written books in Telugu language.
Personal life
Parvathi married Veeragandham Subba rao, a harikatha artiste,[7] and has a son Koteshwara Rao. She then married Telugu actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. T. Rama Rao, after she started working with him to write his biography.[8][9]
