Serena Bishop
Serena Bishop was a fictional character in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Lara Sacher. She first appeared in 2003 and remained in the show until she was missing and presumed dead in 2005, following a major plane crash.
Her character was initially used to a luxury lifestyle, and when she entered Ramsay Street she was looking forward to living in a lavish new house with her parents, David and Serbian-Australian Liljana. However, her father's business fell through, leading her to live permenantly with grandfather Harold Bishop and her cousin Sky, and be forced to go to Erinsborough High instead of Eden Hills Grammar, a posh private school.
Further displeasing her parents, she was ensnared by photographer Chris Cousins and briefly seduced Boyd Hoyland, Sky's then Boyfriend. Serena, then had a relationship with Luka Dokic which had almost become physical by the time they discovered that Luka was in fact Liljana's son, who had been adopted out against her will. Perhaps most humiliatingly and worrying of all for David and Lil, she started seeing the much older Connor, and started working in his bikini shop, which she later bought into.
