Phoenix Force is a game developer by the Brazilian company Awoker Games, funded by Microsoft[1] and available for Windows Phone 8.
The game is of the Shoot 'em Up genre with only bosses, big and strong enemies, and tells the history of how the Phoenixes saved Earth after a catastrophic event vanished life from the planet and brought monsters to all continents.
Gameplay
In Phoenix Force, the player controls a phoenix that fires fireballs against the bosses, that flood the screen with bullets. The difficulty level is above the mobile games' average, but matches the standards of Bullet Hell games.
Development
Phoenix Force is the 26th game from Awoker Games and its 9th Shooter game. It was developed using the opensource framework MonoGame. The development started in August 2013, it was funded on November of the same year and released on March 10th of 2014.
