Patrick Howley (born 1989) is an American conservative journalist. He is a reporter for The Daily Caller in Washington, D.C.[1] He was also a staff writer for The Washington Free Beacon, an online news publication based in Washington, D.C.[2] He previously served as an assistant editor for The American Spectator.[3] His work has been featured by the Wall Street Journal,[4] National Review,[5] and Sean Hannity.[6] His reporting on Elizabeth Warren's 2012 U.S. Senate campaign was criticized by the Boston Phoenix. In October 2013, Howley reported that the White House and former Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner exchanged confidential taxpayer information. [7]
