List of Gravity Falls episodes
This is a list of episodes for the American animated series, Gravity Falls, created by Alex Hirsch for Disney Channel. The season revolves around the various antics of two fraternal twins, Dipper (voiced by Jason Ritter) and Mabel Pines (voiced by Kristen Schaal) who were handed over to their Great Uncle (or "Grunkle") Stan, who turns his house into a museum called The Mystery Shack, in the town of Gravity Falls, Oregon. They soon realize that the town holds many secrets, and when Dipper attains a book that he finds in the forest, they find their everyday lifestyle changes.[1] On July 29, 2013, the show was renewed for a second season on Disney Channel.[2]

Season 2 (2014)
On July 29, 2013, Gravity Falls was renewed for a second season.[2] Creator Alex Hirsch announced that the next season is likely to premiere sometime in 2014.[26] According to Alex Hirsch, season 2 will have some flashbacks of life before Dipper and Mabel were sent to go to Gravity Falls, on vacation with Stan.[27] It was also said that characters such as the teens will have some more screen time and development in season 2. Bill Cipher will also return in at least one Season 2 episode.[28] On March 4, 2014, Alex Hirsch announced on his Twitter account that the second season would premiere in summer 2014.[29] On June 14, 2014 it was confirmed that season 2 will premiere on August 1, 2014.
