Walt Martin (1944/1945 – July 24, 2014)[1] was an American sound engineer. He was nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Sound for the film Flags of Our Fathers.[2] He worked on more than 70 films. He died of vasculitis on July 24, 2014, aged 69. His final film, American Sniper, will be released posthumously.[3]
