Audite Schallplatten is a German classical music record label based in Detmold. The label was founded in Stuttgart in 1973 by Friedrich Mauermann, and for many years based in Ostfildern, until taken over by sound engineer Ludger Böckenhoff in 2000.[1] The firm in its early years was associated with live recordings of the Symphonies of Gustav Mahler with Rafael Kubelik and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
