Yvette Hass (Janury 17, 1985) is a Sweden-based fashion designer widely known for designing watches and womens' wear. She is Head of Design and Chief Executive Officer of her company, BY YVETTE HASS.[1]
She believes in creating mini collections with a high degree of fashion that creates a demand, covet and a curiosity about what’s next to come.
Yvette Hass wants to create strong individual pieces rather than a choral collection. Made for everyday wear from day-time to night-time. Essential pieces to build a wardrobe around, easy to combine in color and long-lasting in both style and extension of upcoming collections.
Both the garments and watches are presented in exclusive and sober colours with a high demand of details and finishing. Carefully selected materials, such as cotton, silk and lambskin, lay the foundation for the exclusive feeling the garments create for the customer.
All clockworks from YH are made in stainless steal with the latest coating method – PVD, Physical Vapor Deposition, a treatment that gives your watch an extremely durable surface and a unique finish. YH watches always use high quality Japanese movements, mineral glass, genuine leather, freshwater pearls, and Swarovski crystals in all of their embellishments. In addition to the classic colours of silver, gold and rose gold, some styles are manufactured in the new colour gilver, a colour that the Urban Dictionary described as "In the world of fashion, a colour that is a mix of metallic gold and silver".[2]
Personal life
Yvette Hass was born in Trelleborg, Sweden She is of American, Germann and Swedish descent.
Career
Already at the age of 4 Yvette designed her first dress, a light blue princess dress, and it was a definite young designer that wore her own creation with pride. Through childhood she drew on everything she came across and the result was often princesses with beautiful dresses. Eventually Yvette started to study design in Malmö Fashion College and before she was done with the training she had already received her first job as a designer.
Yvette worked with some Swedish brands before she went to Hong Kong, to try ”her wings” as a Design and Marketing manager. The employment also included designing and developing collections for the international market. Her time in Hong Kong was very instructive. Many experiences and contacts later Yvette turned back home determined to fulfil her dream YVETTE HASS.
In addition to the YVETTE HASS runway collection, the YVETTE HASS fashion apparel and YH watches lines were launched in 2014. Currently, after her first collection, YVETTE HASS fashion apparel and YH watches are sold in over 70 boutiques in Sweden, Finland, and Norway.
Among the celebrities who have worn YVETTE HASS’ designs are Kenza, Isabella Löwengrip, Laila Bagge, Valeria Mangani, and Sanna Nielsen.
