Arnie Bernstein

Arnie Bernstein is a Chicago-based historian and author. He was born in 1960 in Harvey, Illinois. He earned a BA in Film Studies/Theater from Southern Illinois University and an MA from the Integrated Writing Program at Columbia College in Chicago. [1]

Bernstein has published multiple books on the topics of Chicago History, United States History, and Nazi History. He has been interviewed by the New York Times, The Christian Science Monitor, the Chicago Tribune, and many others. He has given speeches and served on panels at numerous universities and museums and has been honored with grants and awards for his writing. Bernstein's work has been praised by Senator Paul Simon of Illinois and film critic Roger Ebert. [2]
