SAP Ventures is a venture capital firm headquartered in Palo Alto, [[]]California that invests in technology entrepreneurs and fund managers worldwide to build industry-leading businesses. SAP Ventures is an independent investment organization affiliated with the global enterprise software company SAP AG.[1]

SAP Ventures has more than US$1.4 billion under management. The firm invests in companies that have a proven product and business model, typically committing $5 million to $20 million initially with the potential to invest larger amounts over time. The firm focuses its investments on technology companies that serve enterprises directly (B2B), have enterprises as go-to-market partners (B2B2C), or improve the lives of consumers every day (B2C). SAP Ventures has invested in more than 125 companies across five continents. The firm’s portfolio can be viewed on its website.

SAP Ventures was founded in 1997 as SAP AG’s corporate venture capital arm but spun out of SAP AG in January 2011 to become an independent venture capital firm. In addition to its Palo Alto headquarters, SAP Ventures has offices in London, United Kingdom and Walldorf, Germany. Nino Marakovic is the firm’s CEO and Managing Director.
