The Riverboat Gamblers are a punk rock band from Denton, Texas currently signed to Volcom Entertainment.

In 1997, member Pat Lillard (spider) (Bass), formed The Riverboat Gamblers. His original intention was to emulate The Candy Snatchers. The other band members include Michael Wiebe,(Teko Bueller)(vocals) Fadi El-Assad, (Freddy Castro) (Lead Guitar) Jeremy Diaz, (Smokey) (Rhythm Guitar), and Chris Adams (Tuffy McKeller) (Drums). The Riverboat Gamblers' premiere show featured over the top songs relating to anal sex, gambling and Drinking. This was in direct contrast to the emo music that was popular at the time. Tongue planted firmly in cheek, The Gamblers continued to play house parties and shows throughout Denton and the D/FW area. Jeremy Diaz was the first to leave due to legal troubles in his home of Ft. Worth. Clay Cooper who also recorded their first demo filled in for Jeremy for a short time as Rythym Guitar. At a number of shows he also came on stage to form a 6 piece 3 guitar band.

The band first received attention from major record labels after their energetic and rowdy showcase at the 2003 South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival in Austin, TX. While playing their stint on the 2005 Warped Tour the band was often noticed for its deranged live shows. Wiebe was once quoted in rock magazine Kerrang! saying "A show aint no show unless I'm bleedin from somewhere and someone is dead!"

They have also appeared on the soundtrack to the videogame Tony Hawk's American Wasteland.
