Vocademy is an education based makerspace located in Riverside California. The 15,000 sq.ft. facility^[1]^[2] includes access to the following equipment and training^[1]:

3D printers
Full wood shop
Laser cutters
Vacuum former
Plastics
Traditional machining
CNC machining
Welding
CAD
Sewing

History

The name Vocademy is derived from the words Vocation and Academy and is intended to reflect the facility's emphasis on vocational skill training^[1].

Maker Faires

Vocademy was invited to participate in the first ever Maker Faire held at the White House [1] on June 18, 2014^[3]. They also hosted the first Inland Empire Mini Maker Faire[2] at their Riverside, CA facility on October 4, 2014^[4].
