Shelia Guberman Born 25 February 1930, Ukraine USSR He is son of Aizik Guberman(writer, poet) and his wife Etya ( teacher). Scientist in Computer Science, Nuclear Physics, Geology, Geophysics, Medicine, Artificial Intelligence and Perception. The author of the first applied pattern recognition program (1962), the D-waves theory of Earth seismicity (1975), the algorithms of gestalt-perception (1980), the technology of giant oil and gas fields exploration (1985), the handwriting recognition technology (1993).

1947-1952 Institute of Electrical Communications, Odessa, USSR. Graduated with Degree in Radio Engineering.
1958–1961 Post graduate student, Oil and Gas Institute, Moscow, Russia
Received PhD. in Nuclear Physics – 1962.
Received PhD in Applied Mathematics -1971.
