This is very USocentric. Also, perhaps there might be space here for a discussion of the extent to which parking regulations are, or are seen as, revenue generators rather than just there to enable traffic to flow smoothly. 82.69.28.55 20:27, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Parking Violation

It's hardly credible that parking violations apply only to motor vehicles. I suppose anyone parking a horse-drawn vehicle (eg a brewery delivery carriage, old style) in the middle of a highway, would not escape a violation ticket and possibly this person would be the subject to criminal charges as well?
