David Zennie is an American, Los Angeles based award-winning filmmaker who has been actively working on producing and directing music videos, advertisements and movies. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A in May 3, 1988 he started his career from early age of 14. Since, David has produced and directed over 70 professional productions working on various formats such as 35mm, ARRI ALEXA, and the RED Epic. . He has worked on productions worldwide including countries like United States, India, Egypt, Sudan, China, UK, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia. Currently David is developing his first feature film to be shot on location in India.

Works

David has worked with several companies and organizations including Ford, Mountain Dew, Chrysler, Lays and Braun. David has directed music videos for many regional and international artists accumulating over 100 million YouTube views for videos featuring Akshay Kumar (India), Kardinal Offishall (Canada), Sandy (Egypt), Karl Wolf (Canada), Foreign Beggars (UK), Joe Ashkar (Lebanon), Imran Khan (UK) and Yo Yo Honey Singh (India).

Work In Middle East

David has directed many of the region's first Hip Hop music videos dating back to 2008. Several of the David's work has topped #1 on MTV Arabia’s International Express Chart. Having crossed over into Arabic music videos David won the award for “Best Director” and “Best Video” at the 2012 Middle East Music Awards and received his 3rd Murex D’or nomination for best Arabic Music Video of the Year for TA3EE by Lebanese singer Joe Ashkar. David was nominated twice previously for the Joseph Attieh music videos Taeb Al Shawk and Mawhoum. The music video Brown Rang by Punjabi singer Yo Yo Honey Singh which David had worked on was also ranked the #1 trending YouTube video in India for 2012 beating Gangnam Style. The video also won the MTV India Award. Recently David’s work with Imran Khan for the music video Satisfya was nominated for "Best Music Video" at the 2013 BritAsia Awards. David owns a Film Production and Online Marketing Company in U.A.E called Mirror Image Pictures
