Singh is Bling is an upcoming Hindi Comedy film produced by Ashvini Yardi.[1] [2] It is written by Shiraz Ahmed and is directed by Prabhu Deva.[3] The film stars Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson and Rajpal Yadav in the lead roles.[4] It also stars Punjabi rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh and Sumit Shukla.[5] The film is scheduled to release on October 2, 2015.[6] The plot remains unknown, but the film is officially announced.[7] According to sources, Singh is Bling is not the sequel to Akshay Kumar's 2008 film, Singh Is Kinng.[8] Prabhu Deva will direct this movie after making a movie like Action Jackson [9][10][11]

Kriti Sanon was considered first for the female lead role, but later Amy Jackson replaced her. While earlier Kriti had to shoot for Singh is Bling, now she will shoot for Rohit Shetty's next alongside Varun Dhawan.[12]
