Gerard 'Jock' Davison (c. 1967 — May 5, 2015) was a Northern Irish Provisional IRA commander. He was shot a number of times in Belfast on May 5, 2015.[1]

Davison was quizzed about the murder of Robert McCartney in January 2005. He was released without charge.[2][3] Davison was been a community worker class in Markets area of Belfast.[3]

Death

On May 5, 2015 around 09:00 BST, Davison was shot a number of times at Welsh Street in Belfast.[1][2] Police do not believe dissident republicans were behind the attack.[1]
