Songtrust, a division of Downtown Music LLC, is a digital rights management solution empowering songwriters and artists to manage their music publishing and related rights.[1] Songtrust was co-founded by Justin Kalifowitz, CEO of Downtown Music Publishing.

Overview

Songtrust streamlines what has historically been a complex process of registering and protecting song copyrights, collecting royalties, and maximizing licensing opportunities.[2] Songtrust collects music publishing royalties worldwide for writers in the United States and Canada from performance rights organisations such as ASCAP, Broadcast Music, Inc., SESAC, SOCAN, PRS_for_Music, and SACEM.[3]

In June 2015 Songtrust launched the worlds first Music Publishing App[4].
