Early life
Rodrigo Kirchner is the second son of doctors assistant Annette Puschendorf Kirchner and school director Horstmar Kirchner. He was born in Concepción de Chile, but the family returned back to Germany 1.5 Years later. He was raised in the small town Bad Pyrmont near Hannover. He left Bad Pyrmont in the age of 18 to serve his social year in Goettingen.
Career
His career started in Goettingen with the lead role in the feature film "this is no garden eden" where he played a soldier which painted the propaganda war poster for the second world war without his knowledge in a mental institute and the unbelievable story of the first world war which put him in the institute . His first camera work also took place in Goettingen.
After 10 years he moved to Munich were he started to direct as well and do work as cinematographer. After 12 years he decided to move to Dubai and worked since then in Dubai on TVC, fiction, music video and corporate films.
In Dubai he created together with creative Director Oliver Wood a new way of product Promotion, Oliver Wood created creative Boards which Rodrigo adapted in Fiction short films which would be 6 to 8 minutes of length. First one was for the Toyota Corolla 2014 launch which also served the purpose to be played in an extra for this film built 3D cinema. To achieve the maximum effect they filmed every scene of the film in motion to give the audience the feel they are flying through the whole movie. Secon project were for the International launch of the Ford Mustang 2015, which they placed on the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The film was shot in Sedona Arizona, Detroit Michigan and Dubai UAE and was broadcast worldwide.
He also shot Fuse ODG music video "Thinking about you" in Dubai, in only 5 Days preparation time he and his team created a international music video for the Artist. Fuse ODG "Thinking about you"
