Kevin Cunningham

Kevin Cunningham is a boxing trainer ^[1] that started the police boxing program in 1991, originally a police officer.

His is credited for bringing up boxing world champions Cory Spinks ^[2], Devon Alexander ^[3], David Diaz ^[4] & Amateur boxing champion Stephen Shaw ^[5]

Police Career

Kevin Started his career in police ^[6] in St. Louis Eighth District, ending his police career as narcotics detective ^[7]

Cory Spinks

Kevin run with Cory Spinks started at 1995, winning championships in two weight classes (Welterweight & Super Welterweight), including the Undisputed Welterweight title vs Ricardo Mayorga in December 2013 ^[8]

David Diaz

Kevin trained David Diaz going into his win vs established world champion Erik Morales ^[9]

Devon Alexander

Kevin started Devon as a child, winning boxing championships in two divisions ^[10]
