Into The Stars is an open-world Space Survival Simulation video game that's currently being developed by Fugitive Games, a development team that consists out of former EA DICE and Spark Unlimited developers, known for games like Battlefield and Lost Planet 3.[2] Furthermore the official soundtrack is done by Jack Wall, a composer known for his work with Mass Effect.[3] After a successful kickstarter campaign and being greenlit by the Steam community Into The Stars went into the Steam Early Access program on 9 July, 2015.[4] [5]
The goal of the game is to reach Titus Nova with one capital ship and a limited amount of supplies. In order to achieve this the player needs to visit alien planets to gather resources and negotiate with alien species while while being chased by an alien threat, the Skorn. [6]
