Aishwarya Nag is an Indian film actress and a model, who has appeared in South Indian films, primarily in Kannada. Post her modelling, she made her acting debut in the film Neene Neene (2008), she rose to fame by acting in the Kannada film Jolly Days (2009) and Kal Manja (2010).[1]

Aishwarya Nag was born as the eldest daughter to Nagendra Shenoy and Rajani Shenoy (Prashanthi Nayak) in Bengaluru, Karnataka. She belongs to the Goud Saraswath Brahmin Community. Nag spent her childhood in Muscut, Oman before moving to Bengaluru along with her family. Her mother is a former prominent Kannada actress. While her Mother tongue is Konkani, She can also converse in English, Kannada and Hindi.
Nag studied at Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir ISWK, Muscut. Later she joined Sheshadripuram College, Sheshadripuram, Bangalore to pursue her Bachelor's degree in Commerce. Nag is based out of Muscut, Oman and visits Bangalore for her movie assignments.
Career
Aishwarya debuted as a lead actress in the 2008 released film Neene Neene opposite Dhyan and Ananth Nag. [2] The film dealt with the pressures and hassles of tech-workers, and was appreciated for being maturely dealt with. Aishwarya got a great deal of praise for holding her own against Anant Nag who played her dad in the film. She was next seen in the MD Shridhar film Jolly Days. A remake of the Telugu hit Happy Days, it was well received by the critics calling her a "very good heroine material in Kannada".[3]
After a brief hiatus, Nag was seen in the comic caper, Kal Manja which also had Komal Kumar in the cast. The film met with favorable reviews and her performance was lauded by critics.[4] She then signed the film Vighna opposite Vijay Raghavendra which underwent several delay in the making process. 2013 year saw her majority releases with Prajwal Devaraj starrer Ziddi being the first release. She is all set to appear in the multi-starrer comedy film Loosegalu , another comedy opposite Vijay Raghavendra named Chella Pilli, a romantic comedy Pataisu and Biscuit opposite Chetan Chandra.[5] She is playing the lead protagonist role in T. S. Nagabharana's next directional Vasundhara.[6] Nag is playing a lead role in the movie Muddu manase where she is seen riding a Royal Enfield with ease. She has received good appreciation by the critics for the role. Nag will be seen playing a media reporter for her next movie Jaathre scheduled to release in September 2015. Nag is currently shooting for her next movie "The Gulaabi street" and is playing a lead role in the movie which is vaguely inspired by a Bollywood movie Fashion.
