Sophia Sampaio Abrahão (born May 22, 1991) is a Brazilian pop singer and actress, known for her starring role as Alice Albuquerque in the telenovela Rebelde, remake of the Mexican soap opera of the same name.[1]
With active participation in social networks, Sophia Abrahão has a legion of fans and followers and one of the most requested actresses in Rede Globo programs like Esquenta!, Encontro com Fátima Bernardes, Altas Horas, Faustão and Programa do Jô.[2]
Is currently working to develop the career in music.
Career
Sophia Abrahão began working as a model at the age of 14 years. At the age of 15 years, lived alone in China for 4 months. Later, he travelled to countries such as Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong, where he worked making catalogs and fashion shows. When he returned to Brazil, continued the modeling career and in parallel, joined a theatre course, when tested for the telenovela "Malhação". Sophia was approved for the 2007-2009 season, in which he made the preppy Felipa.
In 2010, the actress took part in the television series "Bicicleta e Melancia", displayed by the channel Multishow. In the theater, attended the play Confissões de Adolescente, in the same year. A few months later, signed a contract with Rede Record and started to star the teen telenovela "Rebelde", playing the preppy Alice Albuquerque. In fiction, Alice is one of the six vocalists of the band Rebeldes and made presentations in Brazil's cities (as well as in real life).
In 2012 after the end of "Rebelde", Sophia launched his personal blog, where he posts productions of fashion, beauty tips, and updates. Already preparing to follow his solo career in music, Sophia made some compositions with his cousin Brian Cohen and released two video clips between 2012 and 2013 we are entitled "Sem Você" and "Não Quero Mais". Sophia continued doing gigs on the farewell tour of Rebeldes that had its last show day May 4, 2013 in the capital of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte. Sophia was named to be one of the protagonists of the film "Confissões de Adolescente", living the character Tina.
In 2013 he participated in the soap opera "Amor à Vida" living Natasha, where she dyed her hair red for the characterization of the character to be like that of its sister Nicole (Marina Ruy Barbosa). She was part of the plan of Lídia (Angela Rebello) and Rogério (Daniel Rocha), which began to be put into practice after the girl back with the doctor of the United States, to get back at Leila (Fernanda Machado) and Thales (Ricardo Tozzi) for what they did to your sister Nicole. In the same year, Sophia attended the play "Tudo Por um Popstar", as herself, where he sang several songs. Sophia Abrahão released the singles "É Você" and "Flores", under the command of his old label Sony Music, in August and December 2013.
In 2014, it launched its first tour (which contained only one presentation), soon after released their first EP (which was released independently) and his first book in partnership with Carolina Munhóz. In the same year, participated in the telenovela "Alto Astral" living the sweet Gaby. Currently, after the end of the soap opera, Sophia Abrahão was cast in the feature-length film "Se a Vida Começasse Agora", directed by Alexandre Klemperer, being filmed in Las Vegas. Sophia signed contract with the independent label, FS Produções Artísticas (belonging to the duo Fernando & Sorocaba) to release their first studio album. In September launched the second book in the franchise, "O Reino das Vozes Que Não Se Calam" intitled "O Mundo das Vozes Silenciadas" along with the coloring book, "O Reino Secreto". Sophia will release their first album on October 16, but the pre-sale is available now.
Personal life
Sophia dated with the actor Miguel Rômulo in 2009. In 2010, after 7 months hiding but giving clues, the romance with Chay Suede assumed publicly for the magazine "Capricho" in June 2011 and ended officially in August of the same year. In February 2012, took over with the actor and singer Micael Borges, his colleague in "Rebelde", officially ending in December 2012. Between 2013 and 2014 dated with the actor and singer Fiuk. Currently lives with the actor Sergio Malheiros, who made his romantic couple in the soap opera "Alto Astral". Sophia and Sergio took dating in April 2015.
