DataSphere Technologies was founded in 2006 by Anil Pereira and Ted Bremer, with headquarters in Bellevue, Washington. [1].

Datasphere provides online marketing and mobile advertising solutions to local businesses. The company has offices in Bellevue, Washington and Tempe, Arizona.

DataSphere specializes in helping local businesses reach nearby customers by using geotargeting technology. The company offers mobile advertising, mobile-optimized websites, video production, video advertising and retargeting, in partnership with major media companies including Gannett Company, Inc [2] and Meredith Corporation [3] .

In June 2010, Gannett Broadcasting and DataSphere Technologies announced a partnership to create community-focused websites in 10 of their television station markets. WUSA_(TV) was one of the first to launch these sites in August 2010. In addition to powering the community websites, DataSphere Technologies provides enhanced functionality, including market-leading site search, coupons, a business directory and ad targeting.

From January 2010 to March 2012, Datasphere raised $10.81 million in Series B fuding, $10 million in Series C funding and $8 million in Series D funding. [4]

In 2012, Datasphere Technologies was ranked number one on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list. [5]. The company also featured on the list in 2013 and 2014.

DataSphere was named on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list of fastest growing technology companies in 2012, 2013 and 2014 (ranked #82, #127 and #71 respectively). DataSphere was named as one of the finalists for the Washington’s Best Workplaces by the Puget Sound Business Journal in 2011 and 2013. [6] [7]

In 2013, DataSphere Technologies launched a coupon based website LocalSaver.com with coupons and deals for businesses in a local area. [8]. In 2014, Localsaver app was launched.[9]
