Music Video Alternate Version

I have seen a version shot from the point of view of Courtney Cox's boyfriend/date. He leaves to buy her a soft drink, and is not allowed back on the floor. He watches Courtney climb onstage and dance from the back of the theatre. Can anyone provide details of this version? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.253.131.180 (talk) 19:53, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name changed

I have changed the name from "Dancing in the Dark" to "Dancing In The Dark" only because I noticed on Bruce Springsteen's official website that that is the correct capitalization of the song's name. Billy Joel

The similarities of this song and Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire" seem striking to me. In particular, the feel of the opening rhythm of both songs and the phrases "can't start a fire" and "We didn't start the fire" seem so close. Is there any documentation on whether this song had an influence on Joel's?Kdammers (talk) 05:57, 28 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What about Courtney Cox

Is there some reason why there is no mention the video featured the then unknown Courtney Cox? __209.179.0.121 (talk) 04:02, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe because it's not very important. George Custer's Sabre (talk) 06:00, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure why you'd say that, but if it's true, then why haven't you deleted "the 'Courteney Cox' dance" line from the article? It makes no sense out of context to those readers who don't know what it refers to. __209.179.0.121 (talk) 03:14, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
