Tim Brunero
Tim Brunero is an Australian journalist best known as a contestant and the runner-up of the fifth series of Big Brother (Australia) in 2005.
He was widely tipped as a potential winner in the early days of the competition, however he missed out to Greg Mathew.
Brunero's pre-Big Brother journalism career was mainly with the left-wing online publication Workers Online. He worked briefly in the newsrooms of both The Australian and The Daily Telegraph.
Most recently he joined 2GB-plus, the digital radio service from the Australian radio station 2GB, as a presenter.
Brunero recently visited East Timor in November 2005 for Union Aid Abroard - APHEDA. He is also involved with the ACTU's Your Rights at Work campaign, delivering speeches at rallies such as the Australian industrial relations legislation national day of protest, 2005.
Tim is currently writing for the The Chaser, as well as authoring a book on his experiences in the Big Brother house.
Tim is a graduate of the University of Sydney and was a director of the University of Sydney Union.
