Flow Energy is an energy company in the United Kingdom.[1]
Background
It was founded in 1998.[2] It is operated by the Flowgroup PLC.[3] The company developed a household boiler that feeds back electricity to the local National Grid. The boiler uses Micro combined heat and power.[4][5][6][7][8].
Flow Energy has been supplying gas and electricity to domestic customers since 2013. This sector of the UK economy is dominated by a number of larger companies such as the Big Six Energy Suppliers (UK).[9]
Awards
In March 2015 Flow Energy was awarded an Everline Future 50 award for being one of the most disruptive British businesses of 2015 [10]. Flow Energy was awarded Which? Provider of the year 2016 [11].
