V. M. Devadas (born 1981) is a Malayalam-language novelist and short story writer. Born in Wadakkancherry, Kerala, Devadas published his first novel, Dildo: Aaru Maranangalude Pulp Fiction Patapusthakam, in 2009. His next novel Pannivetta won the Nooranad Haneef Award in 2011.[1] Pannivetta also won the Novel Carnival Award instituted by Malayala Manorama while his story Tibet won the award for best story in 2011 at a short story competition conducted as part of the platinum jubilee celebrations of Chandrika.[2] [3] He has also published two collections of short stories, Maranasahayi and Shalabhajeevitham. He is presently working in an IT company in Chennai.[4]
